A HARD-HITTING bid to stop people dying in Perth's waterways after drinking alcohol was launched yesterday. For the second summer, the Safe-Tay campaign will seek to warn of the dangers of drinking in the vicinity of rivers, not least the Tay.

Come along and listen to live music, have a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the evenings events. We also welcome anyone that would just like to join us for the night and nibble on a small buffet. Starting at 8pm.

All money rasied shall help towards a new interactive website aimed at teaching children water safety awareness. Our hopes are that the website shall be linked to our current site by the end of July 09.

Perth's Fire College Student Water Awareness Day; Lisa Stuart, Safe-Tay Founder, was kindly invited by Dave Black, Community Safety Officer with Tayside Fire and Rescue to deliver a set period of Water Awareness instruction at Perth Fire Station on 30th October, 2008 to a group of students with additional support needs.

Safe-Tay and Tayside Fire and Rescue raising Water Awareness at a recent Charity Fayer in Perth. Firefighters let the public see new flood rescue equipment.

Annual staff quiz raises record charity total

The Annual Social Work Quiz, organised by Perth Council staff, have raised its highest ever total for charity in it's 10th year.

This year a grand total of £1122.10 was raised which will be split equally between the Clic Sargent charity, and local Safe-Tay charity.

Sponsored walk is the West Highland Way

Safe-Tay would like to thank Fay England and her grandson Daniel England from Perth for raising over £570.00. Daniel and Fay raised the money by walking the west Highland Way in June of this year.
